Job Title:
Electrical Engineer

Job Description:
Designs electrical facilities for commercial, industrial and large residential construction projects. Produces lighting, power, telecom, and fire alarm systems plans, one-line diagrams, lighting fixture and panel schedules. Drawings are produced using IntelliCAD (an AutoCAD clone). As an engineer, you are expected to work with minimal technical direction and at a high level of independence in resolving technical problems and establishing the approach for a solution.

Required Skills:
2 years experience in electrical facilities design.
High degree of computer literacy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the NEC requirements.
Ability to use IntelliCAD (AutoCAD experience is directly related).

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of GNU/Linux or other Unix like computer systems.
Programming skills, particularly AutoLISP.
Web programming skills including HTML and PHP.

Required Education and Qualifications:
BS degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school.
Registered Engineer Intern and ability to obtain PE license within 3 years.


Job Title:
Electrical Designer

Job Description:
Provides design and drafting support for electrical engineers. Sets up CAD files and prepares them for design work. Under the direction of an engineer, designs electrical facilities for commercial, industrial and large residential construction projects. Produces lighting, power, telecom, and fire alarm systems plans, one-line diagrams, lighting fixture and panel schedules. Drawings are produced using IntelliCAD (an AutoCAD clone). Maintains CAD standards and standard detail libraries. As a designer, you are expected to work with minimal direction.

Required Skills:
2 years experience with IntelliCAD or AutoCAD.
High degree of computer literacy.
Good basic math skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:
Knowledge of the NEC.
Knowledge of GNU/Linux or other Unix like computer systems.
Programming skills, particularly AutoLISP.
Web programming skills including HTML and PHP.

Required Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma is the minimum requirement but a college degree in a related technical field is highly desired.


Job Title:
Office Manager

Job Description:
Manages accounts payable and accounts receivable. Maintains company database. Maintains project files. Manages and maintains office supplies and equipment. Assists engineer with general tasks, correspondance, errands etc.

This position is part time (anticipate 12-24 hours per week) but has the possibility of growing into a full time position. This position can be combined with some electrical design skills to be a full time position.

Required Skills:
High degree of computer literacy.
Database use and programming skills.
Understanding of basic accounting principals and ability to use bookkeeping software (Quickbooks and/or GnuCash).
Good basic math skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Desired Skills:Knowledge of GNU/Linux or other Unix like computer systems.
Programming skills, and web programming skills including HTML, PHP, Python, MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Required Education and Qualifications:
High School Diploma is the minimum requirement but a college degree in a related field is highly desired.
